Acrylic bathtub forming equipment is highly automated

At present, the majority of acrylic bathtub products manufacturers in the production process, such as heating and softening, clamping, forming several processes are completed by manual operation. Due to the different proficiency of workers, the scrap rate is relatively high, and the production efficiency is low. According to the requirements of the enterprise, the author participated in the design of a dual station fully automatic acrylic bathtub forming equipment with automatic clamping and high degree of automation. After use, the molding effect is good, the efficiency is high, and the user needs are met. This paper analyzes the structure, process and control system design of the double station acrylic forming equipment.

The double station acrylic forming equipment is mainly composed of the following parts:

(1) Automatic clamping rack device. The automatic clamping rack device is a self-designed structure with automatic clamping, unclamping and automatic stretching of plates. The plates are clamped once, and automatically unclipped after heating and forming. The clamping force of the clamping device can also be adjusted in a wide range for the billets with large forming slip. The whole clamping is fully automatic, which helps to improve the quality and efficiency of the parts.

(2) Furnace body and heating device. The volume of the furnace body is suitable for the heating of various specifications of plates, with good heat preservation performance. The heating device adopts infrared quartz tube heating device, which is divided into upper heating area and lower heating area. The furnace body is installed with a circulation fan to ensure the uniform circulation of heat in the furnace body. The heating device is arranged in different areas, which is convenient for adjusting the temperature of the area, can meet the heating requirements of various specifications of products, and the temperature control in different areas is convenient for controlling the local temperature of the plate, convenient for adjustment and good heating uniformity.

(3) Forming unit. The forming device is mainly composed of press down device, lifting platform device, cooling device, compressor and vacuum equipment. Press and lifting table adopt hydraulic device to ensure enough forming pressure.
